the district

I can’t say I understand this shirt 100%, but that doesn’t prevent me from really wanting it. It comes from the French site Le Fraise, which is sort of a European Threadless. There does seem to be a certain irony in paying $30 for a shirt that costs about $5 to make, in order to criticize a wasteful economic system, but that’s just one guy speaking. It sort of reminds me of the time I made dinner for Billy Bragg and he couldn’t be bothered to let me into the show, but his manager did try to sell me a $25 “socialism from the heart” t-shirt. Anyway, check out the site, there are some shirts considerably smarter than some of the crap on Threadless.
